Song is a universal language
When we use our voice to express that music, we sing. Singing not only develops a melodic quality in our speech, but also furthers our sense of rhythm and the musical sentience of a scenic situation.
These are some of the reasons why singing is part of every acting training program and certainly part of your professioanl future as an actor.
